TIPS Pricing
TIPS bills customers for all associated costs, including a project fee for DMS services. TIPS is structured to keep costs low by recovering actual costs of the services rendered. Rates for total project management services are based on a percentage and/or hourly basis of the total project cost and are dependent upon the scope of services provided.
The following rates have been established for TIPS services at this time:
- Procurement, project management, and inspection services: 6% of the total project cost.
- Designs utilizing TIPS certified registered infrastructure cable designers and a licensed professional engineer (per Ch. 471, F.S.) are billed at 6% of the total project cost.
- Combined services (project management and engineering design) are 8% of the total project cost.
- Moves, additions, and changes incur a fee of 10% of the total project cost.
