Regulatory Involvement
Regardless of the current trend toward less regulation of communications service providers, complex federal and state issues have a potential of impacting services that we provide to our customers. Under the MyFlorida umbrella of services, the customer benefits from purchasing from a state organization that pays attention to regulatory issues and how they affect our offering quality communications services reasonably priced.
DMS-CITS monitors the activities of governmental agencies, including the Florida Public Service Commission (FPSC) and the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), as well as legislative and congressional activities. By monitoring regulatory issues in these national and state arenas, DMS-CITS provides a key advantage for our customers.
