The Department of Management Services Communications and Information Technology Services (CITS) serves state and local government entities, educational institutions, and non-profit organizations by providing quality cost-effective communications and information technology services. CITS serves Florida's citizens by enhancing public safety communications and infrastructure. As the communications service provider for Florida government, by statute the CITS establishes rules and develops policy and guidelines that will ensure the successful and secure interconnectivity of state entities and the appropriate utilization of state communications.
