FLORIDA ADVISORY COUNCIL ON SMALL AND MINORITY BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

TALLAHASSEE-Department of Management Services Secretary Linda H. South today announced the following appointments and reappointments to the Florida Advisory Council on Small and Minority Business Development (Senate confirmation not required):

· Malik Ali, 61, Orlando, Florida Minority Supplier Development Council President, reappointed for a term beginning March 18, 2009, and ending March 18, 2011.

· Jodi Bailey, 39, Bristol, Department of Health Assistant Purchasing Administrator, reappointed for a term beginning March 18, 2009, and ending March 18, 2011.

· Jerry Cartwright, 62, Pensacola, Florida Small Business Development Center Network State Director, appointed for a term beginning March 18, 2009, and ending March 18, 2011.

· Franklin Cross, 57, Tampa, Minority Business Development Analyst, reappointed for a term beginning March 18, 2009, and ending March 18, 2011.
