Workshop Descriptions
In order to help minority vendors increase their business skills and educate them on the opportunities the State of Florida has to offer, the Matchmaker Conference is filled with instructive workshops on key business topics including workforce, sales, marketing, finance, law, technology and more. Each day will offer a variety of sessions to help minority vendors discover best practices on increasing their business and gaining full advantage of the opportunities the State of Florida offers.

USDOT Financing & Bonding Reimbursement Programs This session provides information about the USDOT Financing program for qualified Small Businesses that provides a line of credit up to $750,000 for transportation/infrastructure projects. It will also cover the new DOT Bonding Reimbursement Program that fully reimburses firms for premiums and fees incurred by DBEs on, eligible transportation Projects that have received stimulus dollars (DOT ARRA Funding). |
