Lisa Echeverri
Executive Director of the Florida Department of Revenue
LISA ECHEVERRI joined the Florida Department of Revenue in 1990 as an attorney in the Office of the General Counsel. She served as the Chief Assistant General Counsel for General Tax Administration from 1994 until she left the Department for private practice in the area of state and local tax. Lisa rejoined the Department in 1999 as the Director of Legislative and Cabinet Services. In 2002, she was appointed Deputy Executive Director, overseeing operations for the Department's General Tax, Property Tax, and Child Support programs.
In October 2007, Lisa was appointed Executive Director. As the Executive Director, Lisa will continue the technological transformation of the Department, focusing on better service to citizens and more efficient administration of taxes and child support. The Department's leadership team emphasizes professional ethics, social responsibility, and a commitment to public service.
Lisa received both her undergraduate degree in Finance and law degree from Florida State University.
