- Information Release 2009-136 - June 26, 2009, 2009 Legislation (distributed to all FRS Agency Heads and Retirement Cooridnators). This information release describes major enactments of several bills passed by the Florida Legislature during the 2009 Regular Session that could affect members of the Florida Retirement System and other state-administered or locally administered retirement systems.
- Information Release 2009-135 - June 5, 2009, Retirement Contribution Rates for 2009/2010 (distributed to all FRS Agency Heads and Retirement Coordinators). This information release publishes contribution rates effective July 1, 2009, for active and renewed members of the FRS by plan and class code, including rates for the Retiree Health Insurance Subsidy (HIS) and the assessment for FRS administrative/educational costs. Rates are also provided for the Deferred Retirement Option Program (DROP) and optional programs. This release includes a schedule of dates that contributions and payroll reports are due in FY 2009/10.
- Information Release 2009-134 - May 15, 2009, Address Updates for Member Annual Statements (distributed to all Payroll/Personnel Officers). This information release provides the steps necessary for FRS employers to maintain the most current addresses for their employees to ensure they receive their Member Annual Statements and a copy of the Fall 2009 FRS Bulletin. The release also includes some information about secure addresses.
- Information Release 2009-133 - February 25, 2009, Temporary Employment Documentation (distributed to all Non-State FRS Agency Heads and Retirement Coordinators). This information release provides clarification that temporary employees are not eligible for membership in the FRS and provides the two distinct groups of temporary positions. The release also includes a copy of the temporary employment agreement.
