The Deferred Retirement Option Program (DROP) pages provide useful information about DROP and the benefits you may accumulate through participation in DROP.

The Estimates page allows you to request official estimates from the Division of Retirement and obtain information about your potential Social Security benefit or IRS withholding taxes.

The Retirement Guides and Informational Booklets page contains retirement guides for the various classes of FRS membership (Regular Class, Special Risk Class, Elected Officers' Class, and Senior Management Service Class). These guides provide benefit and policy information relevant to each class of membership within the FRS.

Optional Service Purchase
| From January 1, 2009 through December 31, 2009, FRS Pension Plan members may purchase periods of non-mandatory State University System Optional Retirement Program service and Community College Optional Retirement Program service, for which no distribution has been received.
