Conference Registration and Hotel Information
Attention: State Officers and Employees
When you make your hotel reservations, you may notice charges for state taxes on your confirmation statement. As you know, lodging for officers and employees traveling on State business is exempt from Florida sales and use taxes, pursuant to Chapter 212, Florida Statutes. Please be sure to bring proof of this exemption (e.g., a Department of Revenue Consumer's Certificate of Exemption) to the conference, so that appropriate adjustments can be made when you check in at the hotel.
