Dear State Government HR Professional:

Welcome to our website for the 2007 State of Florida HR Conference. We will be convening October 24 - 26, 2007, in Jacksonville, Florida, for what we consider to be the premier training event for state government Human Resource (HR) practitioners. Our theme this year is The Re-emerging Role of HR in leading the journey to excellence in public service. We are very excited to offer inspirational speakers and informative workshops that address the challenges we face today as public sector HR practitioners. Over a dozen different workshops will be available over the course of these three days, covering a wide range of timely HR topics. We will kick things off on October 24 with our opening keynote speaker, Simon T. Bailey, who will energize us by sharing his thoughts and expertise on building our most valuable resources, our employees. Then on October 26, Chip Madera will help close out the week with words to encourage us to return to our organizations and strive to maximize organizational motivation and performance. Participation in this conference is absolutely free and you will not find another training event of this caliber with the same professional development and networking opportunities for HR practitioners in state government.
