Representative Ed Hooper, the bill's sponsor, will be our special guest panel member and will explain the legislative process. In addition to our regular pension program, a continuation of the 60T Rule development workshop will be held on Wednesday, September 10 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The objectives of Chapter 60T are to enhance and further clarify the intent of Part VII, Chapter 112, F. S., so that governmental retirement systems may be managed, administered, operated, and funded in such manner as to maximize the protection of public employee retirement benefits.
