Commercial Telephone Directory Listings
DMS Communications and Information Technology Services (CITS) standardizes the Florida, State of listings in all commercial telephone directories throughout the state and maintains the data files used for commercial telephone directories. (Florida Administrative Code Rule 60DD-4.006)
To maintain uniformity among state government listings, the CITS will only allow telephone companies to process changes, additions, or deletions to Florida, State of directory listings when based on written confirmation from the CITS. To enable the maintenance of accurate and current state listings in commercial telephone directories statewide, each agency is responsible for submitting all revisions to the CITS as the changes occur. The CITS will coordinate with the agency, telephone companies, and directory assistance providers (411 or 555-1212) to facilitate the required additions, deletions, and/or changes to state listings.
All requests related to state listings should be in writing addressed to the Department of Management Services (DMS) Communication Information Technology Services (EITS) at the address below. You may send e-mail requests to: 411helpdesk@dms.myflorida.com.

Regarding multi-agency systems in the local service provider’s service area, additional listing charges are based on the number of directory listings over and above the number of Network Access Registers (NARs) serving the Centrex System. Since a direct charge methodology is not available, the CITS spreads the cost of these additional listings over the total number of main stations in the Centrex systems.
