SUNCOM & SLERS Rules
The Department of Management Services Communications and Information Technology Services (CITS) engaged in a six month process of formal rulemaking to revise SUNCOM communications rules to better reflect current responsibilities of our organization. That process was completed on June 25, 2008 when the new rules became an official part of Florida Administrative Code.
SUNCOM Rules 60FF-1, 60FF-2, 60FF-3 encompass SUNCOM customer eligibility, purchasing services, exemption approvals, and billing, in addition to SUNCOM service usage requirements, network security policies, and the procedures for maintaining state government listings.
SLERS Rule 60FF-4 relates to procedures for public safety entities using the Statewide Law Enforcement Radio System (SLERS).
