Wireless VPN
The WECM (WebSphere EveryPlace Connection Manager) VPN is specially programmed to operate seamlessly in a wireless environment without losing connectivity to the VPN gateway appliance as the remote user transfers wireless networks. The Cisco Client VPN does not support this functionality seamlessly. If seamless roaming over multiple wireless networks is a requirement then you may need the WECM VPN.
At this time Windows Vista is not a supported Operating System for the VPN Client Software. Testing is currently underway. Client support for Windows Vista will be available dependent upon successful completion of testing between the VPN Client software and Windows Vista. Availability Date: To Be Determined.
