TIPS Pricing
TIPS bills its customers for all associated costs, including a project fee for TIPS services. The TIPS program is structured to keep costs low by recovering actual costs of the services rendered. Rates for total project management services are based on a percentage and/or hourly basis of the total project cost and are dependent upon the scope of services provided.
The following rates have been established for TIPS services at this time:
- Procurement, project management, and inspection services: 6% of the total project cost.
- Designs utilizing TIPS certified registered infrastructure cable designers and a licensed professional engineer (per chapter 471, Florida Statutes) are billed at 6% of the total project cost.
- Combined services (project management and engineering design) are 8% of the total project cost.
- Moves, additions, and changes incur a fee of 10% of the total project cost
