Calico Industries Inc. and All American Poly have been allowed a price increase in accordance with contract paragraph 3.24 Equitable Adjustment. The necessary documentation has been supplied to establish that all the conditions required to allow a price increase under the Equitable Adjustment paragraph exist in the can liner industry at this time.

Amendment 8 (5 April 05)

IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT CONTRACT USERS REVIEW THE PRICING OF ALL CONTRACTORS LISTED UNDER EACH ITEM BEING CONSIDERED FOR PURCHASE, BECAUSE FOR MOST COMMODITY NUMBERS, THIS CONTRACT HAS MORE THAN ONE SOURCE OF SUPPLY FOR EACH ITEM AVAILABLE. THERE ARE PRICE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN CONTRACTORS FOR THE SAME COMMODITIES.

The contract has been renewed for an additional year from January 1, 2005 to December 31, 2005, with All American Poly, Calico Industries, Inc., and Central Poly Corp.

Amendment 5 (20 September 04)

JR Plastics, a major manufacturer that supplies Calico Industries is located in Ocala, Florida. This manufacturer has issued a force majeure letter to Calico indicating that as a result of Hurricane Frances they will not be able to supply linear low density (LLD) can liners, in sufficient quantity to meet state needs, until approximately the end of the year. We recommend that, until further notice, where the contract indicates JR Plastics as the manufacturer you should order LLD can liners from the other contractors listed. If you have open purchase orders out to Calico, we recommend that you contact them immediately to determine if they will be able to fill the order, and if not, take action necessary to maintain your needed supplies.

Amendment 4 (28 May 04)

Central Poly has increased some item prices to reflect the rising cost of raw materials in the can liner industry.

Amendment 3 (24 December 03)

The contract has been renewed for an additional year between January 1, 2004 and December 31, 2004. Interboro Packaging Corporation has been removed from the contract. Prices on some items have been increased to reflect the rising cost of raw materials in the can liner industry. The Contract Administrator has been changed from Wendi Sellers to Charles Beall.

at $19.66 per case. District Healthcare/Mid Atlantic Number 242401V, 15”x9”x24”, 1.0 mil liner, Clear, Vented, 1000 per case, commodity code 485-060-540-0105,
has been added to the contract at $20.24 per case. Commodity Code 485-060-540-2210 has been changed to 485-060-540-2205 for the Linear Low Density, Type II, Medium Duty, 2.0 mil wall thickness,16”x14”x37” clear liner with vent holes due to duplicate numbering.
