Additional Contract Information
Subscribers to LexisNexis online services pursuant to this agreement are entitled to receive a 30% discount from initial purchases of new print products and a 50% discount on initial purchase of new print subscriptions to LexisNexis Florida Annotated Statutes. Following termination of any subscription to LexisNexis online services pursuant to this agreement, the terminating subscriber is no longer eligible for these discounts and they shall immediately terminate.
Each LexisNexis user, including each LexisNexis user who receives LexisNexis training, must be assigned his or her own identification number. LexisNexis identification numbers may only be used by the person to whom the identification number is issued. Sharing of LexisNexis identification numbers is strictly prohibited. LexisNexis reserves the right to issue additional identification numbers to subscribers and charge subscribers for additional identification numbers based upon the number of actual users.

Driving Record
LexisNexis provides full access to Driving Records on a statewide basis. Reports are taken from state government agencies such as the Department of Motor Vehicles or the Department of Public Safety and are available in all 50 states for employment purposes.
Employment Credit Report
Employment credit history reports help employers make informed hiring decisions by providing an objective picture of prospective and existing employees whose responsibilities may include cash handling, asset management, property management or other duties where your assets and/or security are at stake.
Before granting you access to credit reports, we may ask you to submit to a physical inspection of your business premises. National credit reporting agencies require these physical inspections to ensure that you have a legitimate purpose for accessing the confidential information contained in the credit reports. There is a non-refundable $100.00 fee for the inspection.
If you are already receiving credit reports from another source and have a copy of the results of a previous inspection, we will review the previous results and determine at our discretion if another inspection is required.
Normalized, Readable Credit Reports
Normalized reports replace cryptic titles and disorganized structures with easy-to-understand formats that make sense out of credit reports for the average user. Typically, organizations have a difficult time wading through lengthy credit reports, understanding duplicate entries, and making decisions based on the information they receive. While a normalized report does not change the data or manipulate its results, it labels information so a user can get in and out of the report quickly and efficiently.
Civil Record Search
LexisNexis offers civil record searches at the county level in every jurisdiction in the United States. Records are searched for civil filings at the upper court level in each of the counties requested by the client. Reports include all civil cases (except for family or small claims court filings) found for an applicant in the requested counties during the previous seven years.
Civil records searches are performed only to determine whether the applicant or employee has been a defendant in a prior employment-related lawsuit. Clients should use this search if the applicant or employee on whom they are requesting the report will be in a supervisory position. Civil record search specialists verify data from document originals.
Professional License Verification
If the position requires a professional license or credential such as a CPA, medical license or teaching credential, LexisNexis can confirm this information directly with the issuing agency.
Our verification professionals are in daily contact with every major licensing board in all 50 states and can verify your applicant's license or credential quickly and accurately.
OFAC Search
LNSS helps companies ensure they are not conducting business with any individuals who pose a threat to the United States as outlined in the OFAC Mission:
The Office of Foreign Assets Control ("OFAC") of the US Department of the Treasury administers and enforces economic and trade sanctions based on US foreign policy and national security goals against targeted foreign countries, terrorists, international narcotics traffickers, and those engaged in activities related to the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction.
The LNSS OFAC Search, in addition to InstaCheck, helps companies comply with the U.S. Treasury's USA Patriot Act, Section 326. This act requires financial institutions (including banks, casinos, etc.) develop a Customer Identification Program (CIP) that implements reasonable procedures to:
· Collect identifying information about customers opening an account
· Verify that the customers are who they say they are
· Maintain records of the information used to verify their identity

In addition, this search will help drug companies remain in compliance for drug product certification as explained by the FDA:
Any application for approval of a drug product shall include -
(1) a certification that the applicant did not and will not use in any capacity the services of any person debarred under subsection (a) or (b) in connection with such application, and
(2) if such application is an abbreviated drug application, a list of all convictions, described in subsections (a) and (b) which occurred within the previous 5 years, of the applicant and affiliated persons responsible for the development or submission of such application
