The Department has authorized this Participating Addendum for purchases of Sprint/Nextel Wireless Services to be made under the corresponding WSCA contract.

For non-state agency eligible users, the Participating Addendum clears the way for non-state agencies to use the contract without additional paperwork from the Department or WSCA; however, such users are responsible for determining whether their local laws require additional terms or execution of a separate Participating Addendum.

To the extent that products or services are available under state term contract, State agencies must document a contract exception per Rule 60A-1.044(3), F.A.C., before buying from the WSCA contract.

Agencies need not submit PUR 7102 or otherwise obtain further Department approval before using the WSCA Wireless Voice contract.

The Western States Contracting Alliance (WSCA) was formed in October 1993 by the state purchasing directors from fifteen NASPO western states. The primary purpose is to establish the means by which participating states may join together in cooperative multi-State contracting in order to achieve cost-effective and efficient acquisition of quality products and services. Cooperative purchases are developed by member states.
