The State of Florida recently updated the Fleet/Motor Vehicles commodity codes and replaced some 070 class codes with the (new) 071 class. This change was made in MyFloridaMarketPlace. For vendor registration, however, only the statewide commodity code listing was updated; vendor registration accounts were not automatically updated as a part of this effort.

You will need to log into your vendor registration account and update your Commodity Selection to reflect the appropriate 071 class codes. Doing so will ensure you maintain visibility into any formal and informal solicitations that the State posts to the Vendor Bid System (VBS) and Ariba Sourcing system.

We attached the list of the updates to the 070 codes and the new 071 codes. Below are the instructions for making this update:

  1. Navigate to http://vendor.myfloridamarketplace.com
  2. Enter your username and password into the Vendor Login box and click “Login”
  3. Upon logging in, click on the Commodity Selection link in the shortcut menu list on the left hand side of your screen).
  4. To find the subcategory, click on each main category.
  5. Click in the box next to the product(s) you provide to make your selections.
  6. When finished, click the "Save" button beforeleaving the commodity code selection page.

If you are currently registered to receive informal solicitations (less than $25,000) via the MyFloridaMarketPlace eQuote tool, you will also need to log in to your eQuote account and ensure that you have selected the appropriate eQuote categories related Fleet/Motor Vehicles.

  1. Navigate to https://equote.myfloridamarketplace.com/login.jhtml
  2. Enter your eQuote username and password
  3. Click “Login”
  4. Click the “Categories”
  5. Click “View Selected Categories” to confirm your current selections
  6. After reviewing your current selections, click on “Categories” to return to main page
  7. Remember to click on "Expand" next to each main category and subcategory until you get down to the product level.
  8. Once you are done putting check marks next to the products you provide, make sure you click on the "Save" button before leaving that particular commodity code.

If you are currently registered to receive formal solicitations (more than $25,000) via the Ariba Sourcing Tool, you do not need to make any updates to this account. The MyFloridaMarketPlace Customer Service Desk will ensure that your Sourcing account is updated.
