Announcing the Launch of VIP!

Attention MyFloridaMarketPlace Purchasing and F&A Liaisons:

We are excited to announce the launch of the MyFloridaMarketPlace “Vendor Information Portal” for vendors! Also known as “VIP,” this portal will be available on Monday, October 26th, and will continue to provide Florida’s vendors with self-service tools for registration, account maintenance, performance rating reviews, and transaction fee reporting. In addition to these features, VIP provides registration for bid opportunities, improved navigation, and simplified data entry for required reporting.

Key Information:

  • MyFloridaMarketPlace Vendor Applications will not be available from Thursday, October 22nd (starting at 7 p.m.) through Monday morning October 26th (to allow for conversion / pre-launch activities)-
    (Note: This includes Vendor Registration (https://vendor.myfloridamarketplace.com)
  • Vendors who have existing Vendor Registration accounts with MyFloridaMarketPlace will not have to re-register as all account information (including commodity codes) will automatically transfer to VIP.

Agencies: What’s going to make working with vendors easier?

  • Improved navigation and informational tools such as simplified registration instructions and ‘Quick links’ that will allow customers to jump to specific areas of the portal
  • Improved commodity code search capability will assist vendors in quickly locating commodity codes applicable to their business
  • Automated registration for State tools via new interfaces that enroll the vendor in each tool from one place. Vendors will now be able to request email notification of bid opportunities from users across the State, including those outside of the state agencies using MyFloridaMarketPlace. This includes bid opportunities from MyFloridaMarketPlace Sourcing and eQuote tools as well as the Vendor Bid System
  • Simplified transaction fee reporting form includes features such as auto-calculated fields for transaction fee reporting and improved guidance when entering report information
