UPDATE - CR 37: Method of Procurement Codes

Attention MFMP Purchasing and F&A Liaisons: Beginning May 29, several new Method of Procurement Codes (MOP) should be available in MyFloridaMarketPlace (MFMP). Several requests were submitted to State Purchasing to add MOP for Chp. 255 procurements (construction related projects). The MyFloridaMarketPlace team, with assistance from the State Purchasing Governance Manager and the State Purchasing Director, analyzed the requests and 8 new MOPs were established. This change will be implemented with Change Request 37 (Mass Edit of MOP) which is currently scheduled for release the evening of May 28. Combining these changes will result in a cost savings of approximately 24 “change request” hours. The initial estimate for this change was a total of 37 hours; however since the team is currently engaged in a change affecting the MOP, the effort to add this has been reduced by an estimated 24 hours! These new codes will be available on May 29, 2008 for your convenience and will benefit your business with MFMP!
