AIRCRAFT INSURANCE PROGRAM

This insurance is purchased and administered by the department of management services, division of state purchasing. The outline of coverage shown below is provided as an overview; please refer to the insurance policy for specific information. All questions relating to this policy should be directed to State Purchasing at (850) 487-0417 or Suncom 277-0417.
DESCRIPTION OF ELIGIBLE AIRCRAFT:
all aircraft owned, leased, loaned, or in the state’s care, custody, or control.
DESCRIPTION OF COVERAGES AVAILABLE (Each option listed below is subject to the policy’s terms, conditions, exclusions, and limits.):
- Hull Coverage – Designed to pay physical damage losses to an aircraft on an all-risk basis, including disappearance of an aircraft.
- Bodily Injury and Property Damage (Single Limit) – Indemnifies the insured (your Agency/University) for any sums which the insured shall have become legally obligated to pay as damages because of bodily injury sustained to any person (passengers may or may not be included, refer to the policy’s schedule) and property damage.
- Passenger Voluntary Settlement Coverage – Designed to pay on behalf of the insured, to or for the benefit of each covered passenger who sustains bodily injury caused by an occurrence.
LIMIT OF INSURANCE:
Various limits are available.
Hull limits will be determined by the replacement cost of the aircraft.
Bodily injury and property damage limits are selected by each eligible user. Options start at $500M.
Passenger voluntary settlement - $100,000
DEDUCTIBLE:
Various deductibles are available.
Hull deductibles will be selected by each eligible user. Options start at $10M.
OTHER COVERAGE TERMS:
- Terrorism is excluded.
- Territory of operation includes the Western Hemisphere.
- Non-owned aircraft liability is included for any aircraft bearing a valid Standard category airworthiness certificate having no more than twelve (12) total seats.
