Turlington
The Florida Department of Education is participating in the Initiative pursuant to Governor Bush's Executive Order. The first phase of the project designated the 9th, 11th, and 14th floors of the Turlington Building to be renovated, with completion of the 9th floor by April 15th. Construction will begin on the 11th and 14th floors immediately following the 'move-back' to the 9th floor. The 11th and 14th floors will be completed by August.
A prototype of the new systems furniture has been installed in a common area in the building for the tenants of the newly designed areas to observe and "test drive." The completed new lighting and HVAC has created a very comfortable environment. Feedback from employees is positive and they are pleased with the quality and the new look and feel of the workstations.
