Visitor Parking

VISITOR PARKING

At state office buildings throughout Florida, certain surface lots and specific spaces are designated for visitor parking . These spaces are for public (non-state employees) use when transacting business in state buildings. State employees, vendors, etc. housed in a state building are not eligible to park in visitor spaces.

Disabled Visitor

Disabled visitor spaces are marked with appropriate signage and blue pavement striping. Use of these spaces should be limited to disabled citizens visiting a facility on business. Disabled state employees are encouraged to leave marked spaces at their office location available for disabled visitors.

Car Parking

There are many parking option throughout the Capitol Complex.

Bus Parking

The bus access lane on Duval Street west of the Capitol Building, is strictly for unloading of passengers and is not designed for permanent parking. After unloading passengers, drivers may park at the Tallahassee Leon County Civic Center, located at 505 West Pensacola Street. The cost to park at the Civic Center is $10 per day for each bus. Buses enter from Pensacola Street at the ticket booth. Individual car parking is also available for a cost of $5.00 per day for each vehicle.

Patrolling of Capitol Area Lots

Report parking violations to (850) 488-6683 or (850) 487-4986. Any parking violation and tow away are matters between the driver of the vehicle and the towing company identified by the signage at the entrance of each lot.
