Investigations Section

Internal Investigations

The Investigations Section conducts, supervises, and coordinates investigations designed to detect, deter, prevent, and eradicate fraud, waste, mismanagement, misconduct, and other abuses within all program areas of the Department. Investigations are initiated from several sources:

  • The Comptroller's Get Lean Hotline
  • The Chief Inspector General's Whistle-Blower Hotline
  • Department Management or Employees
  • Private citizens or other Departments

To report cases of fraud, waste, and abuse or to share your comments and suggestions for the improvement of state government you can contact:
