Living Green Tip – Save Energy and Money This Summer!

1. Cool your house to 78 degrees or your highest comfortable temperature.
2. Don't try to speed-cool the house when you get home.
3. Cool with ceiling fans and the AC, but set the AC thermostat a few degrees higher.
4. Set the AC thermostat fan selection to "Auto" instead of "On."
5. Change your AC air filter monthly during heavy use.
6. Use a qualified service technician to service your AC system once a year.
